Three or more rounds is the U.S. norm

Glassdoor · magnitude

Rehearse the rounds that decide it.

Getting the interview is only the start. U.S. hiring runs three-plus rounds, and the hardest part is often the waiting in between. JACVault preps you for the questions this role will actually ask — then lets you practice out loud in a turn-based simulation. Nobody coaches you mid-answer — that would be cheating. The debrief comes when the round is over, and it goes through every answer you gave.

The part no one preps you for

Interviewing in 2026 is a marathon, not a moment

More rounds, longer gaps, higher stakes on each answer. The process itself wears people down — which is exactly why walking in rehearsed changes how it feels.

You can’t control how long they take to get back to you. You can control how ready you are when you’re in the room — and that’s the anxiety worth spending on. JACVault turns the vague dread of “what will they ask?” into a specific plan you’ve already practiced.

Prep that’s specific to the job

Know what they’ll ask — and how you’ll answer

Generic “top 10 interview questions” lists don’t help. JACVault reads the posting and your profile and preps you for this role: the questions it invites, the story that sets you apart, the number to open on.

  • Question sets, mapped to the postingThe behavioral and role-specific questions this job is likely to bring — not a one-size list — so nothing catches you flat.
  • Your self-presentation and “your edge”A tight opener and the single story that makes you memorable — both built from your real achievements, not invented for the room.
  • Salary coaching — pay transparency on your sideMany U.S. states now require the range in the posting. That’s leverage: JACVault helps you use the number that’s already public instead of guessing.
Not flashcards — a real conversation

Practice out loud. Get the debrief after.

Reading answers isn’t rehearsing them. The simulation is a turn-based interview: it asks, you answer, it responds to what you actually said — and nobody whispers in your ear while you do it. When the round ends, the debrief goes through your answers one by one.

During the round · you and the interviewer
After the round · your debrief

The interviewer adapts to what you actually say. The debrief afterwards sees both sides — your answers and the full profile the interviewer never had — which is why it can tell you which of your own strengths you left unsaid.

The cheapest edge in hiring is a thank-you note

Most hiring managers say a thank-you note factors into their decision. Almost no one sends one. That gap is a free advantage sitting on the table.

Interview practice, honestly

Is the simulation a real conversation or a video?

A real, turn-based conversation. The interviewer asks, you answer in your own words, and it responds to what you actually said. Nothing coaches you mid-round — that would defeat the practice. Once the round ends you get a debrief that rates each answer, shows a stronger version, and names the strengths from your profile you never brought up.

What do I get for free?

A full first simulation round, for real, plus a blurred preview of the feedback report so you can see what’s there. Basic prep comes with Starter. Full prep, all rounds, per-answer coaching and the complete report are on Pro and Max. We label the preview as a preview — no bait.

How is the prep specific to my interview?

It uses the same context as the rest of JACVault: the posting, the company, and your real profile. So the questions, your opener, and your “edge” story are built for that role — not pulled from a generic top-10 list.

Can it help me with salary?

Yes. Many U.S. states now require a pay range in the posting, which is leverage most people leave unused. JACVault coaches you on where to anchor within the posted band and how to justify it with your results — no guessing what the number should be.

Does practicing count against my application quota?

No. Interview practice is separate from your monthly complete-application count, so a simulation round never costs you an application. Practice as much as a round needs.
