Is the tracker really free?
Yes. The in-app dashboard is included on the free plan and every paid tier, with no cap on how many applications you track — and the Google Sheets template is a free download with no email required. Neither one is a locked preview.
Do I have to add every job by hand?
No — that’s the whole point. Any application you generate in JACVault creates its own card, pre-filled with the role, company, date and Fit Score. Jobs you’ve only saved for later sit in your saved-jobs inbox; the dashboard card appears the moment you build the application for one. So there’s no data entry step at all.
What’s the difference between the Sheets template and the app?
The template is a plain spreadsheet you maintain yourself — great if you just want structure. The in-app dashboard fills itself from the applications you generate, flags the ones that have gone quiet, and keeps your notes and next steps on the card. Same four stages, very different amount of typing.
Does the free template expire or nag me?
No. Once you make your copy it lives in your Google Drive and it’s yours — no trial clock, no “upgrade to keep using it,” no follow-up emails, because we never asked for your email in the first place.
Can I move an application forward and add my own notes?
